John and Sally Epsom

photo. Click to view full imageWe brought the car over in 2008 when we decided to permantly stay in Baja Vega.
An original of the first batch of 911SC Cabriolets this 1982 example was finshed in Arctic White, as they all were. It is standard apart from full leather trim. The 911 SC had a 3.0 engine supposedly with 200bhp. although most of them have been dynoed well over this, we think it was a sop to the American market where 90% of this batch were destined, even though they were originally registered in Stuttgart.
The odo reading at 140000 km is genuine. This car was re-imported to Europe in 1993 and had three more owners. It is virually rust free and has always been a garaged fair weather car. The only major re-build is the gearbox in 2002 the car still returns 28 to the gallon and uses exactly the amount of oil stated in the handbook. (as have all my Porsches). The key to it`s performance is it`s flat 6 boxer engine, aircooled with the whole thing weighing in at 1380 kgs.
An exciting car to drive, utterly reliable and well suited to Spainish roads and weather!
