MGB Roadster
The car was first registered in 1973. I acquired the car from the wife of a friend in 1978 as she had trouble steering it and wanted a car with power steering and it has been in my possession ever since.In 1984 the car was completely renovated by Elvy Restoration of Kent, England and the original colour changed from Burnt Orange to British Racing Green. I had the engine modified in 1992 by Oselli Engineering of Oxford, England. It was upgraded from the original 1800cc to around 2100cc. The original exhaust manifold was changed to a performance manifold and the piston cylinders re-bored. The ignition system was changed over to Lumenition Optronic Ignition and the carburetor changed from the original SU’s to a twin-choke 45DCOE Weber. The car is used on a fairly regular basis.
It does have current ITV and is insured.It is on Spanish plates and has has recently been fitted with new tyres.
I do have some paper work and history.
It has only had two owners since new and has been with me since the late seventies. I am open to sensible offers.
