Christmas Club Drive and Lunch

Fifty nine Members and Guests with twenty eight very well turned out Classic Cars took part in our Christmas Drive.Setting off on time we went through Los Montesinos and out into the country-side for a short drive which brought us passed San Miguel de Salinas and Los Balcones, then on to Torrevieja.
On entering Torrevieja we were met by our police escort who brought us in convoy to an ideal parking place on the Paseo De La Libertad where we parked and spent an hour seeing the Christmas decorations, the Belen and taking a cup of coffee, whilst the public enjoyed themselves looking at our cars.
This was the first great display in Torrevieja for the Phoenix Car Club showing us as the Number 1 Club in the local Classic Car movement.
We then went on to enjoy a well prepared and presented Christmas Lunch at
‘ Stan & Ollie`s ’ restaurant to round off our very eventful and successful year.
