Clubnight - Tenpin Bowling
For our Clubnight on 19 February, 30 members descended on the Ozone Complex for a tenpin bowling evening. There was a great mixture of age and bowling abilities and everyone literally threw themselves into the evening! There were 5 teams comprising of 5 people in each and cheers echoed round the complex as members achieved strikes and spares together with groans and laughs when balls were guttered!
After 2 games, the scores were collated and the individual winner was Dave Windsor (Score 259) who collected a prize of a lovely box of chocolates. Pete Dickson put up a good fight and came a very close second, scoring 251 points. Neil Evans came third with a score of 246 points.
Not forgetting the ladies, Elaine Evans scored 212 points, Jean Rea scored 199 points and Jennie Bayliss scored 166 points.
Everyone said how much they enjoyed the evening and afterwards a number of members made their way to the Wok Buffet for a well deserved rest, supper and a few glasses of wine!
