November “ Ace Café ” Meeting

Only our second meeting and there is already plenty of interest for Classic Car enthusiasts to show their cars and talk about their hobby.

Sunday the 1st of November proved to be a very successful day on which lots of owners, members or not, displayed their pride and joy and had the opportunity to discuss the pleasures and pitfalls of owning a Classic Car. An excellent turn out of more than 35 cars proved the Phoenix Car Club idea of an “ Ace Café ” meeting each month, filled a need for all interesting car owners to meet and pass a pleasant couple of hours on a Sunday morning.
Several unknown Classic Cars appeared and joined in the fun of the free and easy atmosphere and were welcomed by the club members that were present. Because of the clubs advice and positive attitude towards helping Classic Car enthusiasts, the club gained three new memberships, one of which is a person already known to several members because of his help and advice whilst importing their cars.
The meeting is not only for men and cars, all ladies are made very welcome and have time to pass a pleasant coffee morning with other long suffering or enthusiastic wives.
The Hotel La Torre in Los Montesinos ( our Spanish “ Ace Café ” ) was pleased to see us and served us with coffee and a friendly welcome.

Our next “ Ace Café ” meeting is on Sunday the 6th of December and again as usual everyone is welcome. Tell your friends about us or bring them along to enjoy a couple of hours of cars from their younger years.
