November Club Night
Our November Club Night was dedicated to be a General Assembly of members in order to vote on the proposal from the Council of Members that the membership fees for 2009 / 2010 should remain the same as for the previous two years.
The voting took place and the ± 40 members that attended the meeting voted unanimously to keep the fees as they were.
Because of the absence of the Treasurer, the statement regarding the financial position and budget of the club for 2009 / 2010 was read out by the Club President, who also explained the appointment of internal Auditors and the procedures for electing and appointing the new Council of Members for 2009 / 2010. The voting for the new Council of Members will take place at the next Annual General Meeting which will be held on Wednesday the 25th of November.
Forthcoming events namely, the Club Drive on Sunday the 22nd of November and the Christmas Drive on Wednesday the 9th of December were discussed and members were asked to support and take part in these events. Members were also reminded of our own “ Ace Café ” meeting, the next one taking part on Sunday the 6th of December.
The evening ended with the feeling of business well done and members went home knowing that that they also are involved in the running of their club.
