May Ace Café Meeting

Another fantastic Sunday morning ‘Ace Café ’ meeting.

Probably forty or more Classic and Specialist cars and their proud owners turned out to enjoy another day at the evermore popular gathering at
Hotel La Torre in Los Montesinos.

The Phoenix Car Club started these events in October last year hoping to create another possibility for car enthusiasts to get together in order to show-off, look at, talk about, give or take advice and in general enjoy their hobby, and all the hoping has thankfully paid off from the very beginning.
The weather was again kind to us as more and more cars arrived to form a glittering display , this time varying from buggies and bikes to at least two Rolls Royce´s, some well known faces and lots of newcomers were amongst the milling appreciative visitors who came to admire the show which is getting better every time.
One of the new to us cars was a shining black Jensen belonging to the President of the Marina Alta Classic Car Club who had come to see what we were getting up to, his club also have their own Ace Café meetings every second Sunday of the month on the coast road between Calpe and Moraira, and was interested in what kind of turn out we were having, and he was pleasantly surprised at the number of cars and visitors we had.
The meeting ended slowly with everyone up to date on what´s new for now, and leaving to go home and look forward to our next Ace Café which is on Sunday the 6th of June.
