Antic Auto 2008 – 5th Classic Car & Motorcycle show. This is the largest static indoor classic car display in the Alicante region. This year there are a few changes compared to previous years (read below).

Held annually at the IFA (Institucion Ferial Alicante), International Exhibition Centre very close to Alicante Airport. Follow signs on the motorway (Alicante airport turn-off) to Recinto Ferial and/or IFA. N340 (Km 731).

Opening times (note opens at 10.30am, not 10.00am as previous years) :
Fri 18 April 2008 : 10.30 – 21.00 (the quietest day)
Sat 19 April : 10.30 – 21.00
Sun 20 April : 10.30 – 19.00 (the busiest day)
Admission charge per person : 8€
Pensioners : 6€

At clubnight on Wed 16 April, Sandra will have some discount voucher leaflets that will give you 2€ discount providing you are in a group of 4 people (show this voucher at a special pay queue for Professional Visitors to the right of the normal payment queues)

Sunday 20 April 2008 for members of the Phoenix Club who are interested in attending, we will be meeting at the IFA at 10.15am on the Sunday.

Due to a lack of Town Hall sponsorship this year, there’s no free admission if you come & display your classic car in the special car park area. Therefore, its up to members if they still wish to come in their classic or not – for those that do, we’ll endeavour to park together. Also, unfortunately there’s no free paella on the Sunday.

There will be a free pre-ITV mobile inspection unit available in the car park.

This year, the “Alicante Spirit Tuning Show” is being held at the same location over the same weekend, but in the adjoining 2nd Exhibition Hall. Admission to this is 15€. (special discount leaflets available at clubnight). It is therefore expected that the car park will be very busy.
