November Clubnight - 21 November
Last night our first official Clubnight was held at the Mirador del Mediterraneo, for which there was a great turnout. The evening started with a brief Extraordinary General Meeting, at which our new Treasurer, Sandra Baker was elected by a unanimous vote.
Mel Baker then gave members an update of next Sunday´s run "The Hidden Treasures of the Vega Baja" - we have 39 people participating in the run with 19 cars.
The fun then began with the Quiz organised by Alan and Sandra Herbert - teams of members struggled (well some did!) with the questions grouped in a number of different categories.
The winners of the Quiz was the Not the Full Shilling team - Peter & Babs Rushen, and Gill & Martin Carter who claimed their prizes of wine.
The bottom team were the Four Tops - Maddy & Michael Whybrow, Gill Collins and Elaine Evans - but they proudly accepted the wooden spoons!
The Mirador donated a prize of Sunday lunch for 2 for the raffle, which was won by Sandra Baker.
